Sheilings is a social care home in the grounds of St Ebba’s Hospital. At Sheilings they provide a social support for people with Autism & learning disabilities. Sheilings is a registered home for adults, at present it caters for people aged 49-64.Our works consisted of the full replacement of existing kitchen which includes a rise & fall table, vinyl replacement, whiterock cladding & full redecoration.

Duration of Project – 5 weeks


• Isolate all power.
• Isolate hot & cold supplies.
• Strip out all existing units & dispose of.
• Carefully remove white goods & set aside.
• Remove all fixtures & fittings & dispose of.
• Supply & install whiterock satin (one colour) to all walls (1200 height from capping).
• Remove all wall tiles & make good walls (extra making good to leave ready for decs).
• Uplift & dispose of existing vinyl flooring.
• Cap off gas supply to range.
• Chase in walls for new supplies & make good.
• Remove kill switch & relocate.
• Supply & install new Howdens kitchen from the Clerkenwell range.
• Supply & install a 900mm extractor hood.
• Allow for freezing pipework.
• Remove all signage/fittings & replace.
• Carry out decorations to walls, ceiling & woodwork.
• Supply & install zip hydro boil water heater 2.2kw 5ltr.
• Latex floor.
• Alter & adapt existing hot & cold feeds.
• Alter & adapt existing wastes.
• Supply all sanitaryware.
• 1st & 2nd fix electrics.
• Dispose of all waste – x 2 12-yard enclosed units.
• Supply & install Bosch hob.
• Supply & install new access hatches 3no.
• Anti-pick all areas.
• Supply & install 9no CAM locks.
