Project: South Lewisham Health Centre refurbishment works
Budget: £120,000
Timescale: 6 weeks (Jan 2017 – Feb 2017)
Construction Notes:
The works carried out and completed were to create 2 new consulting rooms, 2 new patient rooms, 1 new minor surgery room, 1 new dirty utility room, and 1 new treatment room from existing various rooms. This work consisted of:
- Demolishing walls/Creating new walls
- New IPS mounted wash hand basins
- New sluice installed in dirty utility room
- Electrical plastic dado trunking with necessary double socket outlets & data points
- Examination lamps installed in minor surgery & treatment rooms
- New mechanical extract ventilation system via the roof
- Installing & relocating new panic release buttons
- UPVC windows & doors
- Full decoration to all rooms & new Polysafe vinyl flooring with cap & cove skirting
All works were completed whilst the health centre was open to the public and in a live environment with polythene protection and H&S notices where necessary.
